As of today, I have gone 50 consecutive days without any social media. I have had an active account on every major platform for several years now which, prior to this experiment, I used on a daily basis. The one exception on my Social Media Ban was YouTube. I use YouTube as a practical tool for focus/concentration music, so I decided to keep it off the blacklist.
How I did it...
Even if you don't think you are addicted to social media, I highly suggest taking time off. Decide on a number of days and put it in your calendar. Being away from anything you see and do on a daily basis is an important exercise in self-control and improving your life perspective.
