2015 Goals Journal - #8
Okay, first of all: HOW IS IT ALREADY MARCH?!
Now that's out of the way...a reflection on the New Habits 2015 goal pursuit:
Current Challenge: lack of desire and motivation
I have not engaged in my monthly habit - consciously transform one desire into reality - nor have I worked on part my weekly habit - set strength training goals (I have set running goals).
Is there a reason for this? Of course there is. There are many. However, chiefly, the challenge is generating and sustaining the desire and motivation for the achievement of these goals.
Potential Solution: set aside time dedicated to connecting with the "what" and the "why"
Along my journey, I've found you have to constantly and continually return to your intention and purpose. I even have to remind myself what my goals are! As long as I can reconnect with the energy that inspired me to set the goal at the onset, I am surely able to achieve my desired outcome. The next step after reconnecting with the intention is to move into action.
