Have you ever experienced blissful inspiration? It's that moment when you get a really great idea; so great that it makes your heart beat faster. Maybe you feel like you can do anything. Perhaps you write some thoughts or goals down on a piece of paper.
Fast forward a few weeks. That piece of paper with your brilliant idea is now buried beneath piles of bills and work. You've forgotten about it...and even if you didn't, you've become heavily pessimistic about it. Reflecting upon it, you dismiss that moment of inspiration as just a false sense of optimism.
I'm here to tell you something extremely important. That moment of inspiration is the chance for you to make your dreams come true. Proudly put those ideas and goals up in a special place for you to look at throughout your day. Do not muffle the voice of joyful inspiration for it is one of the keys to your happiness and success.
Sometimes moments of inspiration might indeed be characterized by some unrealistic or lofty heights. However, underneath those unrealistic goals that come to your consciousness by way of inspiration is a glimpse into the very reason for your existence. Your life purpose can be found in feelings of passion and excitement. You've got to chase that feeling. Ride that wave!
In the hustle and bustle of every day life, many of us are lost in our routines. We rush from one to-do to the next, constantly working to juggle all of our responsibilities. We have to work to make money, take care of ourselves and our family, maintain relationships with friends, deal with problems, and make important decisions about what food to buy, how to raise children, whether to go to sleep or work on our projects. Everyone is looking for ways to save time and become more efficient. News and media is bombarding us with information.
If we take a moment out of every day to sit in silence and reflect, we can center ourselves and remind ourselves of what is most important.
Monday through Friday is "the grind". We work in perpetual anticipation of good things to come: a promotion, retirement, the "real" job... our anxiety and tension builds and builds because we rarely take the time to truly relax.
If we instead choose to live day by day, our reality changes. Many of our worries and doubts fade because we begin not living so much for what is to come and instead what is happening in the here and now.
